I've been trying to learn how to play the guitar these past couple weeks. I've got most of the chords down except for B and F. For some reason my big fingers can't bar a chord and hold a couple more strings at the same time. I talked to another guitar player who told me he didn't feel comfortable with a B for four years. Looks like I've got a long road ahead of me.
I'm trying to learn so that I can be a more versatile worship leader. Right now I lead through singing. But playing guitar as well as singing would put me into a different world of worship leadership.
But for now, it's back to the B chord and then the F. Practice. Practice. Practice.
